Background:
Our client has decided to rationalize the number of ERP’s used across Finance to Oracle Cloud Fusion. This will be a multi-year program with the first phase concentrating on the migration of approximately 50 entities from multiple divisions currently managed in Oracle eBS 12.1.3. To support this programme, a Data Migration Lead is required to own the test approach, test plans, and drive key business users throughout acceptance testing. The role holder will be expected to be ‘hands-on’ and not just a ‘people manager
Experience:
- 8+ years’ experience in Data Migration with 5+ years specifically in Oracle data migration and not ETL experience
- Previous experience as an Oracle e-Business Suite to Oracle Cloud Fusion (Financial Management) Data Migration Consultant
- Experience with writing data migration strategies and agreeing with C-Level stakeholders.
- Experience mapping, extracting, cleaning and transforming data from eBS 12.1.3 to Fusion.
- Hands-on experience in data analysis including: profiling data, source to target data mapping and data object migrations, e.g. invoices, PO’s, GL Trial Balances, AP, Expense Claims etc
- Experience writing and executing test scripts
- Experience working alongside 3rd parties
- Able to work to time sensitive timescales.

- Oracle eBS 12.1 and Oracle Cloud Fusion Financial Management
- SQL scripting and data manipulation skills
- Oracle Financials functional knowledge
- Advanced Excel.
